Millie Strohm , President and CEO

Millie is one of three co-founders of Alliant. As President and CEO, she ultimately oversees everything “Alliant”. Millie has over 40 years combined experience in management, accounting, bookkeeping, and human resources spanning the association management, hotel and hospitality industries.

John Spina, Senior Vice President, CFO

John is a co-founder of Alliant and is the Senior Vice President and CFO, responsible for Alliant’s financial division. John has a B.S. in Accounting and his M.B.A. from Drexel University. Before moving to SWFL, John was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. His background includes over 40 years of financial, accounting and management experience at CPS firms, hospitality-gaming companies, and condo and homeowners’ associations. John’s experience in finance and accounting ensures that the financials of your association will be accurate and timely.


John Strohm, Senior Vice President, COO

John is the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Alliant. He not only oversees the management of Alliant’s operations, he is a licensed and practicing CAM as well. John served in the U.S. Marine Corps (Ooh-Rah!) from 1982-1986. He then worked in the insurance and risk management industry for a combined 20 years in Philadelphia, Atlantic City and Illinois before moving to Fort Myers and joining Alliant in 2006.

John has two children, both grown and also working within the Alliant umbrella. When not at work, you can find John riding his Harley, traveling, working out, and enjoying the SWFL good life with his wife, Mary. John has been known to run a marathon…or six…and has actually flown the Good Year Blimp over Newport Beach, CA. Like many of the PA transplants around the office, he is an enthusiastic Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Jack Strohm, Managing Partner, CBDO

Jack is one of Alliant’s three founding partners.  He is a licensed and Certified Florida Property Manager with over 40 years combined experience in association management and hospitality. Jack is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker. His resume also comprises many years of experience in law enforcement and insurance, as well as GM positions in large corporations, including hotels and casinos.

Jonathan Busa, Vice President, Business Development

Jonathan has been with Alliant since 2012 as the V.P. of Business Development and Administration. He oversees sales, marketing, client contracts, client relations, administrative services, IT services and human resources. On top of all of that, Jonathan is also a licensed CAM. Jonathan has a BS in Criminal Justice/Legal Studies from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Prior to joining Alliant, Jonathan worked in financial planning, banking, investments, insurance, and business consulting services and has a combined 30 years of experience in said fields. Since 2000, he has owned a Financial Planning and Investment Advisory firm in Massachusetts. On the other side of the fence, Jonathan has served on his own HOA’s board of directors in various board positions for 15 years, as well as serving the last 14 years on a local community development district, of which he is the current Chairman of the Board of Supervisors.

Originally hailing from Boston, Jonathan moved to Fort Myers from Massachusetts in 2005. Jonathan enjoys reading, listening to music (he knows how to play the saxophone) and photography; he also practices Qigong and Tai Chi daily. Despite the constant ribbing by his co-workers, Jonathan remains a diehard NE Patriots fan; although with Brady’s move to Tampa Bay, we suspect he may be battling some inner turmoil regarding his allegiance.

Deborah Thompson, Financial Controller

As the Financial Controller, Deborah oversees the Accounting Department. Her education includes a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Deborah’s professional background includes various accounting positions with Pepsi Cola in both Akron, OH and Washington, DC as well as Coinmach Corporation located in Maryland and Long Island, NY. She has over 40 years combined experience with accounting and has been with Alliant since 2009.


Originally from Minnesota, Deborah eventually found her way down to sunny Florida in 2008 where the golf courses are plentiful and provide year-round play. She enjoys football, especially when the MN Vikings (Skol!) or the Washington Football Team are playing. Many might find it hard to juggle an allegiance for two different teams – but not Deborah. By overseeing 170+ associations and their financials at any given time, she’s proven to be quite the multi-tasker!

Erika Strohm, Regional Senior Director

Erika started her career at Alliant in 2014, learning the ropes from the ground up by starting in our call center. She then transitioned to an administrative assistant position before becoming a CAM. She is currently the Regional Senior Director of our Fort Myers division, overseeing day-to-day operations and association managers, and is a licensed and practicing CAM as well. Prior to joining Alliant, Erika attended LaSalle University, after which she became an SEM manager for the company with which she had interned.

Bonnie Hapner, Regional Director - Naples

Bonnie joined Alliant in 2014 and is the Regional Director for our Naples division. She oversees the day-to-day operations in our Naples office, provides staff with on-going training, and is a licensed and practicing CAM as well. Bonnie received a B.S. in Business Administration from St. Petersburg College and worked as an executive assistant prior to shifting to association management. She has over 12 years of experience in community association management and is well-versed in HOA’s , Condominiums and Commercial Properties.  Bonnie’s experience in the field is second only to her vast knowledge of the industry as well as her ability to provide the utmost in customer service to her associations.

Colin Jenkins, Senior Director of accounts receivable

Colin joined Alliant in 2008 and is the Senior Accounts Receivable Director. He oversees the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable, sales & rentals, and insurance departments. Colin has a BS in Resort & Hospitality Management and worked for a large locally owned hotel & resort company in SWFL prior to joining Alliant.

When not at work, you will find the Jenkins Family soaking up the sun by land or sea. Colin is a devoted fan of the Buffalo Bills (which he admits to unapologetically, despite the hard time given by his co-workers). He is also a fan of Notre Dame (now that one we can understand).

Tara Parsons, Senior Director of human services

As the Director of Human Resources, Tara has the best job at Alliant: recruiting, coaching and leadership development for our most valuable assets – our Human Capital. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Lehman College of the City University of New York. Prior to joining Alliant in 2013, Tara worked in various HR positions with increasing degrees of responsibility. She has a total of 24 years of HR experience and is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management. Among other things, Tara focuses on arguably the most important tasks at Alliant: keeping our employees paid, facilitating employee benefits, building team camaraderie, and ensuring that Alliant is a safe and gratifying place to work.


Originally from the Big Apple, Tara traded skyscrapers for palm trees when she moved to Fort Myers in 2004. When she isn’t tending to the team at Alliant, Tara enjoys spending time with her family, including the love of her life, Frank, her four children, and her mini schnauzer, Percy. She also loves to travel; and can often be caught watching lacrosse or football (Go Gators!).
